Join us for 10/10, No Notes: A Fragrance Bar and Book Swap Experience with Note & Accord

Join Kindred Bookshop and Durham's own Note & Accord for an afternoon of fragrance, creativity, and community. In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the art of scent while crafting a custom fragrance that's uniquely yours.

Whether you're drawn to warm woods, bright citrus, soft florals, smoky ambers, or something unexpected, you'll learn how fragrance notes work together to create a scent that reflects your mood, memories, and personal style. No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to follow your nose.

We'll also be hosting a community book swap, so bring a gently loved book to exchange (optional, but encouraged!) and discover your next great read. Enjoy light refreshments while you browse books and scents, mingle, and connect with fellow book and fragrance lovers.

Accessibility & Parking

Please note that the event space is not ADA accessible. The venue is located on the second floor and requires climbing one flight of stairs to enter. We want guests to have this information when planning their visit.

Street parking is available near the venue. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find parking before the workshop begins.
