A Community Fundraising Program
About the Program
Notes of Generosity helps eligible nonprofit organizations raise funds through Note and Accord fragrance experiences and online product sales.
Selected organizations receive a unique fundraising code to share with their communities. When a supporter makes a qualifying purchase during the organization’s designated fundraising period, Note and Accord donates 10% of the eligible purchase subtotal to that organization.
The code does not provide a customer discount. It allows us to identify and track the purchases supporting the organization.
**Gift cards qualify when they are purchased using the organization’s fundraising code. Purchases later made with that gift card will not generate an additional donation.**
How It Works
- An eligible organization applies for a designated fundraising period.
- Selected organizations receive a unique fundraising code and promotional materials.
- The organization shares the fundraiser with its members, email subscribers, social media followers, families and supporters.
- Supporters shop online or book an eligible fragrance experience using the organization’s assigned code.
- Note and Accord donates 10% of qualifying purchase subtotals to the organization.
Supporters may participate from anywhere in the United States by shopping online or may book an experience at our Charlotte or Durham studio.
Qualifying Purchases
The 10% donation applies to:
- Full-price products purchased through the Note and Accord online store
- Fragrance Layering Bar reservations
- Scent + Layer Experience reservations
- Signature Scent Workshop reservations
- Gift cards
- Custom scent reorders
- One-on-one blending
At current experience prices:
- A $30 Fragrance Layering Bar seat generates a $3 donation.
- A $70 Scent + Layer Experience seat generates a $7 donation.
- A $100 Signature Scent Workshop seat generates a $10 donation.
- A $60 online product order generates a $6 donation.
The donation is calculated before taxes, tips, shipping charges and other fees.
Supporters may book an experience for any available future date, but the purchase must be completed during the organization’s fundraising period.
What Is Not Included
The following purchases do not qualify unless otherwise approved in writing:
- Private events
- In-studio retail purchases
- Taxes, tips and shipping charges
- Returned, refunded, canceled or disputed purchases
The fundraising code or tracked link must be used when the purchase is completed and cannot be applied retroactively. Fundraising codes cannot be combined with promotional or discount codes.
Who We Partner With
Notes of Generosity is open to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving areas such as:
- Health and wellness
- Education
- Entrepreneurship
- Social impact
- Support for women and children
- Eligible parent-teacher organizations
Priority may be given to organizations serving communities near our Charlotte and Durham studios.
Political campaigns, political organizations, individuals and organizations without active nonprofit status are not eligible.
